Near Casa Verardo

Casa Verardo is reachable through Ponte Storto which is close to Campo SS. Filippo and  Giacomo, at the beginning of Sestiere Castello and at the border to Sestiere San Marco. The Sestiere Castello which begins here, extends on one side to the Arsenal and the Gardens of the Biennale and on the other side to Rialto bridge.  At a few steps from Casa Verardo, beyond Saint Mark’s Square and Rialto bridge, you will find the museum Palazzo Grimani (www.palazzogrimani.org), the Gallery Querini Stampalia (www.querinistampalia.org) and the UNESCO venetian headquarter.

Furthermore, a lot of shops, including the elegant Via XXII Marzo, restaurants, caffè and bars are in the area.
